Habbo Staff are people who work for Habbo Ltd, and are paid to do so.  Habbo Staff have a variety of different jobs within the Hotel, some are moderators, some are office staff that deal with the day to day running of the Hotel and some are programmers (techies) who work on improvements and new stuff.

Moderators

Habbo Hotel is moderated 24 hours a day, there is ALWAYS a member of Habbo Staff on the account 'Moderator'.  Moderator is a shared account and the staff that use it are all police vetted and experienced in moderating online communities.  Moderator, is who you need to speak to if your account has been stolen or if you need a safety ban.

Office Staff

The office staff keep Habbo Hotel running, they have a variety of different jobs depending on what they were recruited to do.  They process our cheques so we get credits, answer our e-mails, shut down scam sites, recruit new Hobba's and that is only a few of their roles.  They also write the HabboHood Happenings which keeps us up to date with what is going on in the Hotel.

Programmers (Techies)

These chaps makes sure everything is working properly, they try to get rid of glitches and improve the Hotel for all of us.

Although all the staff have very different jobs, Habbo needs all of them to run smoothly, you may think they are doing nothing but I assure you they all work VERY hard.

How Do I Identify Habbo Staff?

Habbo Staff are easily identified, they have a badge with 'Habbo Staff' written on it. If this badge is switched off they are probably off duty and in the hotel for fun.

How Do I Contact Habbo Staff?

If you need to speak to Moderator, then you should send a 'call for help' and start it something like this "Would it be possible to speak to Moderator..." if the online Moderator is not to busy they will then pick up your call, but be patient, they have ALOT to do.

If you need to contact the office staff then you should use the contact page which can be found within the Help & Safety Section of each Habbo's Home Page's, and select a reason for contacting them from the drop down list. (It usually takes 7 days to get a response to e-mails)

How Do I Become Habbo Staff?

Becoming a Habbo Staff member isn't easy, you could apply for a job on the Sulake website, but they usually look for people with specific qualifications or experience.  Or you could become a Hobba and work VERY hard, a lot of the current Moderator Staff were Hobba's before they got their staff badges.
